Biography
Chris is the Chief Population Health Officer for Vail Health and the Executive Director of Eagle Valley Behavioral Health at Vail Health. Before joining Vail Health, he was the Director of Eagle County Public Health and Environment. He and his wife are the founders and owners of Endorphin, a functional fitness chain with four Colorado locations offering indoor cycling, HIIT, Strength Training, and yoga. Before moving to Eagle, Chris was the Director of Colorado’s Public Health Emergency Preparedness Division and led Colorado’s obesity and prevention efforts as the Director of Prevention at the State Health Department from 2003-2014. Chris’s education and passion revolve around improving the population's health, behavioral health, fitness, and wellness. Chris is a decorated combat veteran, receiving a Bronze Star and Presidential Citation while leading troops in Iraq.
